Famous for  For finding the brand’s ‘face’ by launching a US-wide competition. Fashion blogger Lynzy Carey was the winner

The original incarnation of Caravelle was launched in 1963. It was the brainchild of Bulova, which had wowed the world with its tuning-fork technology that it put in its Accutron watch. This watch, which was first sold in 1960 used tuning-fork vibrating at 360hz as the timekeeping element rather than a balance wheel.By 1963, Bulova was looking to launch something to compete with cheaper brands such as Timex. The result was Caravelle. The brand did well for a while but was eventually discontinued.

In 2013 the brand name was resurrected. This time Caravelle was created as an interpretation of the fast-paced, exciting, vibrancy in watch form as shown by the Caravelle New York Ladies Bangle watch above. For both men and women, it is Bulova’s most trend-led collection.

Did You Know? In 1968 Caravelle was the largest selling jeweled-movement watch in the US

Brand Friends: Not yet, as it is quite a new brand, but we’re sure that won’t be the case for very long
