Famous for  Known for its research and development, it holds a host of patents and world premieres. Gael Monfils is its brand ambassador

It was just 11 years ago when two watchmaking devotees decided to join forces in founding De Bethune; David Zanetta, a collector with a passion for art, history, and timepieces and Denis Flageollet, the son, grandson and great-grandson of watch makers. Both men were keenly aware of sharing the same vision of tomorrow’s watch making, with a unison being the natural thing to do.

Based on a resolutely avant-garde vision of traditional watchmaking, the Manufacture Horlogère De Bethune saw ten patent registrations, eighteen world première innovations and nineteen in-house calibres in 12 years of research express the spirit of excellence of the Manufacture. De Bethune is above all a research and development engine, a laboratory making use of cutting-edge technologies implemented in the spirit of the great 18th century master watchmakers, where all parts are designed and produced one by one, while lavishing particular attention on every detail.

The pure styling, taut lines and slender cases of these creations represent the unmistakable signature of De Bethune’s contemporary expression of the watchmaking art. Together with Pierre Jacques, De Bethune’s dynamic CEO, they form an effective triumvirate that is propelling De Bethune and its consistently modern creations towards an even brighter future.

Did You Know? The brand is award winning; for the DB28 collection De Bethune won the aiguille d’Or in GPHG in Geneva.

Brand Friends: De Bethune keep its brand ambassadors very much in the family, naming Pierre Jacques CEO, David Zanetta President and Co-Founder, Denis Flageollet Technical Director and Co-Founder as its representatives. The brand is evidently very much about loyalty and pride itself on the level of expertise each one of its employees can offer.
