Mutewatch is a stylish, minimal watch brand, with a difference from Sweden. The world’s first touchscreen watch with a silent vibrating alarm and timer functions is aimed at both men and women. Mutewatch was the idea of a young Swedish woman called Mai-Li Hammargren (featured in our Watch Who Wears) who wanted to find a way to ensure her early morning starts didn’t wake up her boyfriend who was working late. The unusual watch was launched in 2011 during Berlin Fashion Week, was snapped up by concept store, Colette in Paris for two exclusive months, before being shipped to premium stores worldwide.
Available in six colours, the original Pure Black, Charcoal Grey, Poppy Red and its new variants, Nova Purple, Indigo Blue and Ivy Green – Mutewatch is proving to be a popular watch choice for fashion forward men and women. It features a solid coloured band, a silent vibrating alarm and a hidden touchscreen that comes alive with either the touch of a finger or a flick of the wrist. The screen lights up with an effervescent glow that adds another colour dimension to this unisex watch.
