|Famous for||Modern watches for women, inspired by quintessential British heritage|
Beautiful old towns, wooden church pews worn from years of use, to great stately homes and old leather bound books – these are some of the wonderful and unusual items from English heritage that inspires O.W.L.
But don’t think that an interest in tradition means the young watch brand is old-fashioned. Far from it, the company, started by experienced horologist Annette Allen, prides itself on using cutting edge techniques, such as mesh and leather wrapped bracelet links, printed metal bracelet links, and premium materials including carefully selected leathers and Swarovski crystals. The O.W.L Oxford range features a mother of pearl dial and silicone sprayed links (featured).
The brand is fast gathering a cult following among ladies watch fans, and its “Kensington” model has just received a rave review by fashion blogger @SheLikesShoes.
Did You Know? The watch collections are named after some of the brand’s favourite quintessential English towns: Sandringham, Oxford, York, Hampton and Cambridge.
