Now one of the most recognisable high fashion names in the world, Fendi was founded as a leather and fur specialty store in Rome by a young Italian fashion entrepreneur Adele Casagrande – her label acquired the name Fendi after she married Edoardo Fendi in 1925. Now in the hands of Edoardo and Adele’s grandchildren and with Karl Lagerfeld at the creative helm since 1965, Fendi swiftly moved from fragrances to eyewear to beautiful and fashionable watches, and stands as an international leader in luxury goods.

Fendi’s first watch collection arrived in 1988 – designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, who remains the company’s head of accessories. Since then the Fendi aesthetic has remained one of classicism combined with modernity – a look that carries through its timepiece collections. Contemporary watch designs blended with traditional craftsmanship and techniques result in elegant pieces featuring Swiss Made quartz movements, hand-stitched interchangeable straps and customisable faces.

In 2010, Fendi introduced the Crazy Karats watch, with a face that rotates to give three unique looks, boldly coloured gemstones rearrange themselves in a sparkling diamond and stainless steel case. The watch’s silver dial is adorned with a diamond at 12. In all parts of this global empire, Fendi embraces femininity, form and fashion.
