Famous for  Its legendary El Primero 3018 movement beats at an astonishing 36,000 vibrations per hour

In 1865 visionary Swiss watchmaker George Favre-Jacot changed watch manufacturing forever; by bringing together the entire range of watchmaking professions under one roof. In doing so, he facilitated the systematic control of each component and that of the complete mechanism. His company, Zenith, went on to produce some of the most precise and reliable timepieces that the world has ever seen. An example is the Zenith Elite Lady Ultra Thin Moonphase Automatic above.

Today Zenith remains one of the rare manufacturers capable of producing all parts of its watches. It is also the first to have developed a high-frequency automatic integrated column-wheel chronograph, powered by the legendary El Primero 3019 movement beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour.

Unsurprisingly, the brand feels a special kinship with adventurers and innovators who manage to achieve firsts or one offs in their chosen fields, such as brand ambassador Felix Baumgartner, whose achievements would surely have met with the approval of Favre-Jacot.
